Vision board ideas for women
Search for vision board ideas for women and you get the same image a thousand times: a magazine collage of handbags, beaches and perfect kitchens. There is nothing wrong with any of it, but it is somebody else’s board.
Here are ideas that start from your own week instead. Pick the three or four areas that actually have your attention this year and give each a few pictures you would be glad to see every day.
Work and ambition
Ambition boards work better when they show the next step rather than the top of the ladder.
- The project you want your name on by the end of the year
- A woman in your field whose work you admire
- The room you would like to work in, or the hours you would like to keep
- A moment you were proud of at work, to remind you it happens
Money of your own
Money pictures land when they show what the money is for, and the habit that gets you there.
- A savings or investment number you can check against
- Something the money buys you: time off, a course, a deposit
- The tool you actually use to track it, from a notebook to an app
Health and energy
Leave out the before-and-after photos. Picture what a good week of looking after yourself looks like.
- A walk or a class you want to keep going to
- A kitchen with real food on the table
- Eight hours: a bed, a book, a phone in another room
- A photo of you outside on a day you felt well
Love, friendship and family
This area does not have to be about romance. A board about the people already in your life is often the one that changes most.
- A long dinner with friends you want to see more often
- A photo of someone laughing, from your own camera roll
- A slow Sunday, the way you would like more of them to go
Home, travel and calm
Three areas that are easy to picture and easy to forget. One image each is enough to keep them on the list.
- The one room at home you would change first
- A place you want to wake up in at least once this year
- An empty bench, a quiet street, an evening with nothing planned
Keep it where you look
Most boards are made in January and forgotten by March. Put yours where you already look: a phone. Mira turns each picture into a widget card with its own line, on the Home Screen and the Lock Screen.
Your board, not the magazine’s
If a picture would look just as good on a stranger’s board, swap it for one from your own life. Those are the ones you keep looking at.
